In 2019 my friend (and former boss) and I got together to structure, market/promote and design a 1-time comedy show event to benefit a local child who had been tragically stricken with cancer.  Though we had been down many marketing paths before, this endeavor was new for each of us, and we were beyond motivated to figure it out and make the event a success.  Long story short, that one event has now turned into over 100 shows benefitting dozens of charities across the state as we have just welcomed our 5,000 patron through the door of Motown Mark's Comedy Productions.  It has been a thrill to watch this effort grow and an honor to have helped raise money for so many incredible organizations.
